Self-employed health insurance deduction

Lets self-employed owners deduct up to 100% of health, dental, and qualifying long-term care premiums for themselves, a spouse, and dependents directly against income. Not available for any month the owner was eligible for a subsidized employer plan, even through a spouse's job.
